ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Houlton - Harrison Crouse "Harry" Roper, 89, passed away peacefully of old age on April 28, 2022, at Madigan Skilled Nursing Facility in Houlton, ME. He was born February 6, 1924 in Detroit, son of the late Llewelyn and the late Ivora (nee: Budd) Crane. He was Assistant Director at D-Arrow Camp during the 1960/1970s in Grand Lake Stream, ME, for 12 years, and that was when he and Marilyn and their children got to know Maine. He is also survived by granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Roper Paradis and husband, Ryan, and great-grandson, William, of Hampden; and grandson, Jeremiah Harrison Roper and wife, Morgan, and great-grandchildren, Theodore and Clara Kate, also of Hampden.
